Hawai'ian Culture, Music, Language and Arts utilizing the internet
as an educational medium
with the ultimate goals in mind of (1.) To further educate
resident and non resident
Native Hawaiians along with those of other ethnic backgrounds, in the
Hawaiian Culture and It's Arts. (2.) To increase awareness in other
ethnic communities of the world about the Hawaiian Culture and
its Arts. (3.) To bring the worldwide Hawaiian Community together
as one through communication and dissemination of information. This
Corporation
is devoted entirely to becoming a voice of the people of Hawaii and
Hawaiian Communities around the world.

IMPORTANT PROGRAMMING NOTICE! We will be upgrading our bandwidth output to 64 kbps stereo beginning sometime this winter. The good news is, those who listen on broadband connections will notice a significant increase in the quality of the sound. The bad news is those who still listen using 56k dial-up connections may find it difficult to listen at all. Ideally we would offer both types of transmission, but alas, the money is just isn't there yet. If you begin to notice a degradation in your listening experience, please notify us via e-mail. You might also let our engineers know if you like what your hear as they work hard peaking and tweaking the machines that make our audio presence on the web the best it can be. U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY HAS GRANTED US OUR TAX
EXEMPT STATUS AS A 501(3)(c) NON PROFIT CORPORATION. In a letter
dated September 11th, 2003 the IRS recognized
Pacific Broadcasting Service as a not for profit, community supported
entity. Our EIN is: 41-2068996.
TIPS ON LISTENING TO OUR BROADCASTS. The "supplemental channel" buttons will only work when we have programming available on them. We will eventually have a "Program Guide" available that will give information on what type of programs are airing and the times they are scheduled to air. For now enjoy a wide variety of music recorded right here in the islands. GRANT WRITERS WANTED! If you or someone you know is an accomplished grant writer and would like to help us raise our projected annual budget for 2006-7, call or write us for details. We are looking for volunteers who share our vision of spreading Aloha around the planet and educating its population about the Hawaiian Culture. In the process it is hoped that this will help preserve and build the Culture and allow it to take its rightful place within the World Community.
