The SentoClone method of adoptive immunotherapy was developed by leading doctors and scientists in Sweden. These lymph nodes contain lymphocytes having the ability to ‘recognize’ the tumor. These lymphocytes are isolated, cultivated and sent to a ‘training camp’ in the laboratory. There they become more active and replicate in great numbers. The activated lymphocytes are subsequently returned to the patient by means of a regular blood transfusion where they begin to hunt down and attack the tumor cells.
